SUSAN FANG

SUSAN FANG is a London based contemporary womenswear brand, established in 2017 after Susan Fang graduated from Central Saint Martins. Inspired by the beauty of nature, designer Susan Fang set out to capture the algorithms that shape the world around us. The “air-weave” – a manual technique invented by Fang herself, is a game between the two- and three-dimensional realms, allowing for the garments to move gracefully while remaining both voluminous and compact. Tiny strips of fabric are hand-sewn and woven together, a laborious but sustainable, minimal waste process. The bubble accessories, a brand staple, add a light and playful touch. She launched her own label in 2017 after winning the Fashion Scout Ones to Watch Award, and shortly after presenting the AW18 collection during Shanghai Fashion Week. In 2019, she was shortlisted for the LVMH PRIZE, with Dazed Digital featuring SUSAN FANG as one of the chosen five global fashion talents up for the prize. The current and upcoming stock list include Selfridges, Dover Street Market, Opening Ceremony, Browns, Farfetch, and Labelhood.

系列灵感来自于 Susan 从小到大的梦境,在虚拟现实的美丽风景中翱游。 梦中,她自由地与大自然融为一体,随着空气飘荡,在海洋里呼吸…这些浮光掠影,将以超现实的手法在本季中一一描绘。

延续上一季的空气刺绣,透明的纱线与轻柔的彩色羽毛交织,被层层包裹着,宛如一朵朵浮于空中的水彩玫瑰。这一季,Susan 将羽绒服创新,彩色羽毛被一个个手工编织成鸟、花和植物等各不相同的图案,每一件都是世上独一无二的。抽象缝合的自然美景在轻盈的鹅绒中漂浮,一改羽绒服笨重的形象。一切都是梦境中对于飞行的向往。

品牌标志性泡泡系列中,将童年梦境中的点滴记忆,那些纯真又复古的元素,透过回收的磨损弹珠,映在新推出的高跟鞋和木靴上。秉承可持续性的理念,鞋底经过深思熟虑的设计,只有 2 种尺寸,却能适合 6 种不同尺码的脚。每只鞋都采用特殊手工制作,以避免库存造成的资源浪费。

本季,SUSAN FANG 很荣幸能再次与施华洛世奇合作。水晶中层层叠叠的色彩映衬着设计师对自然和几何的着迷,在水晶和泡泡配饰的融合中展现。
